Samantha Hillis is a young women in her early 20’s. I have had the privilege of working with her and getting to know her on a personal level for the past 2 years. She is a sweet, caring and loving person. She is going to school at Western Kentucky University for Photography and Photojournalism.
Some of her work is breath taking. She is very modest about her work, she doesn’t give herself near the credit she deserves.
I think she’s very brave, she set out on adventures around the world, traveling with her family, sometimes traveling alone. She goes to far away places to capture photos and story’s, that she would love to share with the world. She photographs unique people, awesome objects, and incredible places. Lots of people in the world will never have the chance to see some of these places. With her fantastic photographs and stories, its almost like your there, if you close your eyes you can smell the waters, and you can almost hear the waves crashing on the rocks or feel the hot sand under your feet.
I get excited after one of her adventures, she brings back so much enthusiasm and I cant wait to hear the stories. She has lots of photos, stories of the experience she will always remember. The sparkle in her eyes show the passion she has for her work. She is a fabulous photographer, and a great person. I am honored to work for her and with her on her many projects, as she travels the world.
